CURRENT NEWS AND VIEWS ON THE
"PUBLIC PETITION FOR OFFICIAL INVESTIGATIONS OF SATHYA SAI BABA AND HIS WORLDWIDE ORGANIZATION"

The Public Petition was begun so as to bring attention mainly tp to two issues: 1) serious allegations of child molestation and homosexual abuse by Sathya Sai Baba at his ashrams in South India, involving many student victims there and also boys and young men visiting from other countries and 2) unresolved murders of four devotees at Prashanthi Nilayan in Sai Baba's bedroom apartment in 1993. Born Sathya Narayana Raju, Sathya Sai Baba is an Indian claiming to be the full manifestation of God on earth. He has been worshipped - according to reports - by several million followers from most countries of the world, and many are still followers despite the extremely damaging revelations by many former devoteeds and in the world media. His worshippers include heads of state, royalty and other well-known dignitaries. There are many followers in the highest echelons of the Indian government, judiciary, and civil service (IAS), including several former Prime Ministers of India and the current Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh and current President Pratiba Patil. All officials currently still in the Sathya Sai Organization have failed in their moral and compassionate duty by disregarding and not alerting membership to the allegations, thus putting minors at risk in the presence of Sathya Sai Baba. These officials, some being educators and health care professionals, have lacked the moral courage to exercise due care, instead complying with a campaign of secrecy and cover-up. The alleged molestations having been widely reported as going back at least 40 years. A directive was issued to various high office-bearers in the organization banning discussion of these allegations in the centres.

Though the Sai Petition suffered a breakdown due to excessive (pro-Sai) spammers and saboteurs during its first year on-line when it was on an unprotected free petition website, the valid signatures were recovered from files held by those who administered the petition at that time. They appear as the lower entries on this page. The Public Petition administrators had, after much discussion,. agreed to remove spam entries which had been posted in considerable numbers. This they did for some weeks, until their system was somehow overloaded and the entire set of entries disappeared. After much difficult negotiation,. the Public Petition administrator agreed with the petition administration of Arthur Klein to reinstate the valid signatures from back-up files. The JuST group decided they could not reply on the on-line petition providers and asked for a new website to be made. Not long after that, a new and secure website was started for the petition under the same domain name http://saipetition.net, with security measures which ensure that spammers cannot disrupt the petition or post from bogus IPs and locations. These measures are not detailed here since spammers (such as the only very vocal critic and saboteur of the petition, Gerald Moreno) might find it possible to subvert them, since no on-line petition is 100% safe against criminal attacks. The new administrator of the petition was chosen, Robert Priddy, who has since been relieved for some periods of time by others. The International Sathya Sai Organization was defended through an extensive attack on our petition - originally through sabotage attempts by posting bogus names, and subsequently by a massive on-line campaign run by Gerald Joe Moreno in which he claims critically to analyze the petition and that it is 'not legal'. Despite that, he has been unable to challenge its legality through any due process and its authenticity remains as is and the integrity of its many supporters and signers remains intact. The extent of his on-line attacks on signers of the petition has to be tracked to be believed!

Very few signatories write to Just Seekers of Truth in reference to the Petition. Their signature, of course, suffices. Even though some write encouraging remarks. JuST must of course keep their data as confidential:

Then, on the other hand, some non-signers like to make it known why they don’t sign (MSull is Mark Sullivan of the USA):

Your a bunch of idiots......why not get a life...and see if that is more of a worthwhile endeavor....than signing petitions.......if any of you really knew anything about Sai baba you wouldn't waste your time....a flea on an elephant..thats what you all are..............Mark

It is typical of these name-calling brand of "Sai devotees" that they dare not say their own full name and address. Mark wants to make his mark in some way - like any dog at Prashanthi. He fondly imagines that the petition signers know less of SB than he does! Many of the signers founded Sai Organisation centres long ago and were leaders, service workers, donors... you name it. I was the leader in Norway for close on two decades and came to know so much of Sai Baba that I found him out!! This was never my aim or desire, but it happened due to my very close friendship with the editor of Sanathana Sarathi, the now-deceased V. K. Narasimhan. Unfortunately, Mark is in for some big and painful surprises further on down the slippery slope...

A would-be spammer of the Public Petition calling himself Rafael Talquez from Mexico, sent the JuST group a death threat. He states his involvement with the Sai movement as being from 1997 to 2003, and listed his qualifications as follows (pasted directly from his mail):-

"siddha sadhu/proffesional killer alias hitman” and added the Comment “Who is hiding behind this dirty petition? I'll personally 'll cut his head off. 500 agains 500 milion visitors till now. Yuo people are liers. And I'll take a judgemenat on You. Be afraid 'couse I'm coming to get you... this is no joke, I swear on me madre”

Of course, this entry was excluded from the list of over 500 bona fide signatures. This person is, of course, not at all representative of Sai followers. However, he is clearly heavily brain-washed and psychologically disturbed, apart from being semi-literate.

He only serves further to discredit the Sai cult.

ANSWERS TO SPAMMERS &
OTHER COMMENTARIES ON PETITION

THE PETITION WAS POSTED ON MAY 20, 2002 BY THE GROUP "JUST SEEKERS OF TRUTH" WITH 32 INITIAL SIGNATORIES, WHOSE NAMES APPEAR IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER ON THE SIGNATURE PAGE.

NOT ALL SIGNATORIES ARE EX-DEVOTEES,
OTHER CONCERNED CITIZENS ALSO SUPPORT THE PETITION.

The JuST group (or, to give it the full title the 'Just Seekers of Truth' group) consists in 32 ex-devotees who were consulted on the text and functions of the international petition before its launch. There is no sole individual who represents the group, the most active members naturally being listed alphabetically as equals among the original 32 signatories. Occasionally consulting on special questions with other members of the extended group, a working group of six persons developed the petition and investigated many matters both of principle and of media-technical nature in connection with it, and its potential future uses. As the initial group as extended in phases by inviting additional members, all were able to send input, comments and questions, which many did. That all the 32 invited persons signed initially demonstrates the consensus that was achieved. The working group naturally also worked on a democratic principle without any leader, but with a delegation of functions according to needs and capacities.

Those who have signed up since then and who may wish to become members of the JuST group and so receive advance notice of initiatives to be taken in connection with the petition may apply to us at justseekers@hotmail.com Naturally, we shall be most pleased to receive any degree of support on offer from anyone who may have special skills and information they feel they can provide, and those with useful contacts in forwarding forthcoming initiatives. All who have been so good as to sign the petition deserve an explanation as to why complaints to the FBI and CBI were not included.

The JuST petition working group, in consultation with a dozen of the other original signatories in the JuST group, seriously considered the status of exposé dealings with the FBI and the CBI and found that the initiatives taken towards these bodies by various exposé activists have not so far proven effective. No documentation of replies, nor any public statement concerning Sathya Sai Baba or the accusations against him, have been made available anywhere by either the FBI in the USA or the CBI in India. Mentioning this in the international petition would therefore have been counter-productively unconvincing to any serious actors and agencies in the legal and human rights field. The same applies to the High Court judgement in India, where the charges were rejected as invalid, on the grounds that they were made by a person other than any of the injured parties. Documentation of all this only proves unadvised and incorrect procedure on behalf of the injured parties, which the JuST group considered a bad advertisment for the credibility of the petition to authorities around the world.

Even if documentation useful in convincing public officials and organisations were to become available from the FBI or the CBI or anywhere else, it could not be included in the petition, which has already been signed by over 100 genuine petitioners and cannot therefore be altered.

Some unwanted or bogus signatures by unscrupulous devotees soon began to appear. These are usually erased within hours. We keep some of the information and have replied to some of the spammers. It is indeed puzzling that those who "hear no evil and see no evil" should deny concerned citizens of the world their right to express their beliefs and manifest what they consider a violation of human rights. Some unprincipled visitors use the website to write irrelevant comments etc. Fortunately, decent people act on the principle ‘if you don't agree, just don’t sign’.

On the minds and hearts of two spammers? They hide behind aliases "Exposer of Tal Brooke" (plantrights@angelfire.com) and "Vakishwari" aka"Jyothish Arun" pen1890@yahoo.com) and one can see why! They both claim to be ongoing Sai devotees (what adverts for Sai Baba!) and have tried to cast aspersions on the sexual orientation of someone who has signed the petition, which in itself is irrelevant and speaks of a weak or prejudiced mind. What is NOT irrelevant is sexual molestation of underage males by a male using the enormous pressure that he can exert being regarded by them as God Incarnate. NOR is the tremendous deceit and fraud in claiming to be PURE irrelevant to the petition! The circumstantial evidence against Sai Baba is so massive and believable, and yet still too effectively covered-up by SB through his network of deluded devotee statesmen, politicians, judges and policemen etc., that only equally ill-informed and 'mind-washed 'persons cannot take it in. Anybody can have whatever sexual preference they desire as long as they don't bother children. The fact that someone might be homosexual or bisexual would not change one iota SB's fraud and pederasty.

We are not primitive male chauvinists or an ignorant sexually-repressed peasantry, we have respect for other people's biological and social preferences as long as they cause no harm. In this we differ in actual praxis from the mass of Sai followers who turn a blind eye to the overwhelming body of facts they could ascertain with some honest efforts.

It should be understood that any present or former devotee of Sai Baba (or anybody for that matter) can have whatever sexual preference they desire as long as they don't bother children and, even above that, as long as they don't claim to be God Incarnate. The fact that Conny Larsson might be bisexual or that anybody could have suspicions about Tal Brooke would not change one iota SB's fraud and pederasty.

You are doing the vegetarian world and yourselves a disservice - making people see what real nutters subscribe to spamming and unscrupulous means. Theis petition is not funded by anyone, it is cost free!! I know because I am one of those who designed it. I also know from 20 years in the movement and close contact with V.K. Narasimhan (his editor and closes servitor from 1996 to 2000) that there are about 1 million actual followers of one or another degree of committment - and that Sai Baba is guilty!

Comment: Albert Einstein and quantum physics illustrate the principle that we can only see what we are. Petition signers are indicting themselves .. .. However, you proceed to draw a conclusion from this about others. That is untenable, however you look at it. You are, by your own major premise, excluding that you can know anything about anyone else! I would have thought you could have analysed your own projections? Are you not therefore also projecting all your own ideas and qualities onto Sai Baba? In your declared solipsism you must be aware that you cannot communicate anything to anyone else. In fact, Einstein's relativity is in conflict with quantum physics and, actually, neither lends itself to the assumption you have drawn from them.

Comment: Shirley Maclaine told Larry King of CNN that her friend Richard Bock was in India and ran out of a color film produced only in Beverly Hills. He therefore stopped filming Baba who has turned down most requests for filming. Baba excused Himself from the room for a moment, and came back with a stationery bag which said Beverly Hills Camera Shop. Inside it was color film. The bag was stapled shut with a receipt. Weeks later when he went back to California, Bock went to that shop where a clerk told him that a man answering Baba's description had come in and purchased the film but did not wait for change.

Very interesting reteller but, I would be curious to know if anyone else has heard the other version of that story where instead of Richard Bock there were two cameramen filming a video of Sai Baba and they ran out of film, but this film could only be gotten at a certain store in NYC. So they told Sai Baba that they were going to have to leave, because they couldn't continue filming. Sai Baba told them not to leave, to come back the next day. And so they did. Sai Baba handed them the film they needed. When the cameramen went back to New York City they went to the only store where that film is sold and the clerk told them about the man in the orange tunic with the afro hairdo who had bought the film.

Anyway, what does this have to do with the Petition for Official Investigations?

Comments: Robert Priddy, the previous signer, is from one of the 4 countries in the world still involved in the barbarism of whaling. Baba has said to harm no creature.

Does that mean that Mr. Priddy cannot sign a public petition for official investigations of Sathya Sai Baba?

I appreciate your evident need for attention. A shame that you don't give your name, but the e-mail address is sufficient, I suppose. I happen to be one of the very first protesters against Norwegian whaling - many a year ago. I have regularly done my bit in the debate in Norway, as you might have noticed? Among other things, I contacted high officials of the European Union by private letters and told the inside story of how the Norwegian authorities were deceiving the world community and the Common Market. Not long after that they boycotted Norwegian seal products. I am also against all wolf, wolverine, lynx and bear hunting, the indiscriminate shooting of hares, ptarmigan, elk and the slaughter of seals... I happen still to be a British citizen, having been resident for many years in Norway.

However, I would inform you that you are certainly not helping the cause by posting irrelevantly on a serious petition site - it is actually just spamming (which all people look down on except those few who do it, I guess) - either against whaling nor against human predators on young boys and men, such as Sathya Sai Baba most certainly is on a large scale!

It would be better if you were to let me know your name and contact me in a normal fashion, so we can discuss the problem in the correct way.
