Some time ago I found a very interesting story in a pro-Sathya Sai Baba book written in German language.
After the Cover story (75 years of Sathya Sai Baba – Faith and Controversy in December 2000) in the Indian newsmagazine “INDIA TODAY” and all the other media reports about the sexual misbehaviour of SSB we can see the following story in a totally different light.
Sathya Sai Baba and Saint Padre Pio

In the Second Part / Chapter 6 – (God´s devil) by Rainer Seeman we find the following text which appears on page 125
TRANSLATION:
….again and again I heard of these devilish dreams. In one case the Italian saint Padre Pio appeared (in a dream) to a very Christian minded Baba devotee who was already acquainted with him from previous visions.
In this dream he (P.Pio*) asked him, where are you? “With God” the Baba devotee said, “I want to be closer to God.” After that, Padre Pio answered: Yes, you should learn something, namely that you are with SATAN!
This dream had such an impressive effect on the shocked person, that some of his friends, who were fanatic Baba devotees before, have also been influenced and all of them left the Ashram (the Ashram saw a few devotees less the next day)……

*Padre Pio (25th May 1887 – 23rd September 1968) is one of the most popular saints in South-Italia.
Canonization took place on 16th June 2002
Unfortunately Rainer Seemann an expert in religious science has already passed away, so that it is almost impossible to identify the above mentioned person who dreamt of Padre Pio. As we came to know about SSB´s evil nature we may believe the dream to be a lucid dream and the monk has indeed appeared to protect the devotee. Anyway the devotee believed in the message of Padre Pio as the devotee had full faith in the pure nature of the monk.
The book was published in the year 1987 and therefore I can suspect that the incident with the priest might have happened already in the seventies or in the early eighties.
Now we may ask the question why the author has mentioned the story at all. It becomes clear as the following part in the book deals with a nonsensical interpretation. As a devotee Mr. Seemann believed SSB to be the origin of the dream and saw it rather as a test. The dream was sent to confront the devotee with the unknown part of his consciousness and was nothing else than a therapeutic measurement, an instrument to test the loyalty of the devotee.
